Visiting professor Elena Alekseevna Chernysheva
At the Department of Propedeutics of Childhood Diseases of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov from 06.12-2021 to 23.12.2021 a visiting Professor was held by the Head of the Department of Propedeutics of Childhood Diseases of the KSMA named I.K. Akhunbaev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Excellence in Healthcare of Kyrgyzstan — Elena Alekseevna Chernysheva. The visiting professor was held in the format of lectures, seminars, conversations with 3rd year students of the Schools of General Medicine and Pediatrics at clinical bases — in the City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 2, in the «Aksai» UK, in the Simulation Center of KazNMU; consultations on educational, scientific and methodological work at clinical sites and online lectures for teachers.
Students and teaching staff listened to a series of lectures on the propaedeutics of childhood diseases on the topics: «AFO of the respiratory and circulatory systems in children», «Semiotics and diagnosis of lesions of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems in children», on topical issues of epidemiology and diagnosis of coronavirus infection among children and adolescents , as well as student youth. The visiting program aroused a keen interest of the audience, an exchange of views took place, the students listened with interest to lectures and asked questions to the visiting professor. Of particular interest was the research conducted among students of Kyrgyzstan from various regions on the incidence and diagnosis of coronavirus infection, they were also interested in the training program in Pediatrics at the KSMA named I.K.Akhunbaev. After the end of the lectures, a survey of the audience was conducted about the visiting professor’s program. Also, a survey of students was carried out as part of a planned joint study on epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of coronavirus infection in young people in the Central Asian Within the framework of the visit, Chernysheva E.A. visited the School of Pediatrics, the Simulation Center of KazNMU, National Center of Pediatria and Children Surgery, where she got acquainted with the latest achievements in modern pediatrics, in the organization of the educational process at KazNMU. Based on the results of the visit, a joint educational, methodological, scientific work with the Department of Propedeutics of Childhood Diseases of the KSMA named I.K.Akhunbaev is planned, including the possibility of academic mobility of students and teaching staff.
